This is not your typical call center job. At Phoenix Technical Marketing, we serve engineering firms, fabrication shops, and construction service providers—whose customers expect technical conversations, not generic sales scripts.
We’re looking for a Technical Lead Vetter who can speak the language of the job site and shop floor. You’ll be the first point of contact for inbound inquiries—often from general contractors, engineers, or facility managers—seeking fabrication, engineering, or specialty construction services. Your role is to gather the right information so our clients’ sales teams can assess lead quality and fit.
This is a fully remote position that starts part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role if desired. Shifts are generally available between 8am–8pm EST, with flexibility based on your availability.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phone calls on behalf of multiple technical service providers
Gather key project and contact information from prospects
Summarize lead details and enter them into a CRM system
Follow up with leads via phone and email as needed
Communicate clearly and professionally on behalf of our customers
Requirements
Industry Experience: Must have direct experience in fabrication, engineering, or construction
Technical Fluency: Must be comfortable discussing technical scopes using appropriate terminology
Communication Skills: Must be confident and professional on phone and email
Tech Competence: Able to navigate CRM tools, Excel, and Gmail efficiently
Professional Environment: Must be able to take calls without background interruptions
Reliable Connection: Strong internet and phone signal are required
